  • In keeping with the SAUER 202 design, the receiver is the supporting element of the rifle. By working autonomously from the stock bedding, the system practically supports itself.
  • The barrel and receiver are connected by a snug-fitting cone plug that is free of wear and tear.
  • The state-of-the-art manufacturing process ensures minimum tolerances and maximum precision.
  • Six lugs lock the bolt directly in the barrel. This guarantees exact positioning of the lock after every disassembly and assembly, and prevents wear and tear at the plug connecting barrel and receiver.
  • With the press of a button, six lugs lock the fore-end directly in the steel receiver.
  • The S 202 Take Down can be disassembled without tools to a length of 70 cm and re-assembled within seconds for immediate action. There are no tools to forget or lose, no screw that is eased or tightened too much – the rifle is reduced to simple perfection and that leads to successful hunting.
  • After assembly the point of impact remains 100 % consistent. There is no need for testfiring.
